I know it's November, but I couldn't help but share these pictures of our Halloween here in NYC. It was so much fun to walk around the city as the Wizard of Oz characters!
We took Duo to a children's event in Alsphalt Green in Battery Park, that had a lot of fun activities going on. Halloween in the city is sooo different from the suburbs!
My costume and Duo's were store bought, but Brian made his own and I loved it! He got many compliments. He went to a coffee store and bought coffee bags for $2 each! He got the straw at a Halloween store, we already had the hat (mine!). And because there was no Tin Man, I made the "Missing Tin Man sign".
Duo had a blast running around, although he did not want to keep his lion mane on! We all had a great time and we never found the Tin Man. We did see another Dorothy and a Scarecrow...
Afterwards, on our way home we ran into the West Village Halloween Parade. We watched for a minute, and then headed home...to Oz. Ha!
Hope you enjoyed a peek into our Halloween. We love Halloween and we already know what we'll be next year!
