Without Love

I have always been a believer of dreaming BIG—I mean really big. And because of it, this quote resonates perfectly with me. I have never been a fan of baby steps. I know, I know, to achieve a goal you need baby steps to get there.

But to dream?  No.

I think that if we're going to actually spend our time dreaming why not dream big, why not aim for the moon?

Why should we be careful and afraid when it comes to dreaming? Because of the fear of disappointment and failure? Well, how about we dream bigger than usual and create a plan (baby steps included) so that whatever we achieve on "our way to the moon" is still an achievement?

Maybe the stars and moon are waiting for us to make those dreams a reality... You never know.

Your Best

One of my favorite books is Don Miguel Ruiz's The Four Agreements. It uses a simple philosophy, that if applied, can really change the way you live your life.

One of the Four Agreements is: Always do your best.

It's true that every moment is different and how we do things will be different from time to time. As long as we know we've done our best, we can most likely let go of the end result and concentrate on doing our best.

In my case, what I can do while being pregnant is not the same as when not, so I constantly remind myself to just do my best and it makes everything easier.

The important thing is to be kind to ourselves, and by living our lives this way we can let go of self judgement and just be proud of what we do.

True Happiness

That's exactly how it should be. We only have this moment and if we are constantly looking into the future, imagining what it will look like and not being present to this moment, we will be missing out on the beauty of now.

Plan for the future, believe in your dreams but always maintain yourself in the "here and now". Life is happening. Stop waiting for the perfect moment.

 

Remember today is yesterday's tomorrow.

In Your Heart

I do believe that love is what lights up your life and fills it with color and warmth. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, a day where we can all be thankful for the love we have to share in our lives and the love others share with us. 

Love is such a powerful word. It's what makes the world go around. Love is beyond what you feel for your significant other. It includes your family, friends, and can also reach others by a simple smile or an act of kindness.

 

Keep love in your heart—and don't forget to share it.
