Live Fashion Illustration at Alt Summit

This past March I was invited to Live Illustrate at Alt Summit conference in Palm Springs. It was such an amazing event that I wanted to share it with you! I was located at the gorgeous Parker Palm Springs Hotel. This hotel is what I would describe "Chic in Wonderland"! And, of course, it was designed by Jonathan Adler.

It was two days filled with amazing ladies, which I had the pleasure to draw and have some very inspiring conversations with.

The people that attend Alt Summit are what creativity, inspiration and bravery is all about! Women from all over the world that have been in business for years, new businesses, women who are putting their souls into everything they do. And it shows!

And the fashion...let's talk about the fashion. Everything from casual chic to sequins with denim. Yes, this is the place to go all out and have fun!

PALMS SPRINGS...HERE I COME!

If you have been following me on Instagram, you probably know by now that I'll be heading to Palm Springs on March 24! If you don't know why, let me share my excitement with you! I will be illustrating attendees live at ALT SUMMIT Conference!

This year is their 10th anniversary, so it's going to be a huge event and they're calling it ALT OASIS. A few of the fabulous (seriously!) speakers are Joanna Gaines, The Novogratz, and Garance Doré. I know, I know, sounds amazing! Well, I'm pretty sure it will be.

This will be my second year, and I'm thankful to return and share my passion for art with all the creative entrepreneurs. If you're going, lucky you, I'd love to meet you! I'll be illustrating at the amazing Parker Palm Springs hotel, Monday 3/25 and Wednesday 3/27 from 1pm to 3pm.

ALT Summit 2017 in Palm Springs!

A few of weeks ago I was fortunate to attend Alt Summit. Have you heard of it? It's a conference for creative entrepreneurs, social media influencers and bloggers. It's usually held in Salt Lake City, but this year it was at The Saguaro hotel in beautiful, sunny Palm Springs!

The location was amazing, so I was super excited. The hotel is fun (look at that Barbie display below!), colorful and just gives you that boost of energy that you need in a conference. As a visual person, I thought it was perfect!

The first night was the opening party at the pool! It was sooo much fun, we ate, drank and were able to meet a lot of new friends. We had a blast! One of the best parts was getting to share it all with my sister, Marybel. Yay!

A World of Travels & California (Part Two)

On Saturday we headed to the OC! We have a lot of family there, so we got to spend Mother's Day with my aunt and cousins. Sunday morning my cousins Alicia and Aly had prepared an amazing brunch, which included omelette, fresh fruit, croissants and yummy mimosas. My aunt and I were first to sign up!

It was really nice to see my cousins and aunt, they finally got to meet Duo. We live so far so I was super happy to see everyone! Below I'm with my cousins Alicia (the chef) and Brenda. 

Monday morning we got up and off we went to visit my aunt and uncle in Temecula. My aunt had prepared some delicious lunch for us. Yum! 

After lunch my uncle took us on a tour of the wineries. It was beautiful and a huge change of scenery from the concrete jungle we live in! It was really great to spend the day there.

That evening we were back on the road heading to Aliso Viejo. Guess what? More yummy food awaited! Cousin Oscar, who is an amazing chef, had made an Argentine barbeque (asado). Soo good!

I wish we could've had a longer stay! Our last day we drove back to L.A. and back to the beach, this time it was Santa Monica. So beautiful!

After a few hours at the beach we took a walk in Santa Monica, had ice cream and then drove back to LAX for our flight home.

It was such a great trip. We had a blast spending time with family, the beach, parks, museums and wineries of Southern California.

A World of Travels & California (Part One)

This past week Brian, Duo and I packed our bags and headed to sunny California! Brian was there for business and we decided to extend the stay and make it a family vacation and tag along. The flight was not bad at all. You never know with a toddler! Duo slept most of the time. Whew! 

Since our hotel wasn't ready when we arrived we went straight to the beach! Duo was loving the sand but not the waves. He's definitely a New Yorker!

The next day Grandma and Grandpa came from Las Vegas and we all headed to Hollywood. We took a stroll down Hollywood Boulevard. The day was beautiful!

It was fun to just walk around, it had been years since my last trip to L.A. However, Duo did not care to see any of that until...he spotted Mickey! Now the trip was worth it. He does exist!

The third day Brian had to work so Duo and I had a fun day planned. Not! He got pretty upset when Daddy had to leave, as you can see below.

He was not liking the car seat, so we went to the park...ok, much better! As long as he gets to run around he's happy! Yay!
