Today's inspiration is from artist Colin Christian. Born in London, he is an artist that creates large scale sculptures finding inspiration in old sci-fi movies, pinup girl, supermodels, anime and ambient electronic music. He began using fiberglass and eventually turned to silicone to be able to help him achieve his goal of true cartoon realism. Enjoy!

Inspiration: Miaz Brothers Art
Today's inspiration is from the Miaz Brothers. They are a duo of brothers from Italy who are recognized by their amazing series of portraits. They use spray paint on canvas in a unique way never seen before. Here are a few from their The Antimatter Series "Kawaii" of fashionable female Japanese adolescents. Enjoy!

Inspiration: Antonio Lopez Art
Today's inspiration is from fashion illustrator and artist Antonio Lopez. He was a Puerto Rican born fashion illustrator who moved to NYC as a child and became a big part of the fashion world of the sixties, seventies and eighties. His work appeared in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, British Vogue and French Elle. Enjoy!

Inspiration: Katie Daisy Art
Today's inspiration comes from Oregon based Illustrator Katie Daisy. I first encountered one of her illustrations on the cover of the book, Heart Thoughts A Treasury of Inner Wisdom by author Louise Hay, and loved it. She was also recently featured on Super Soul Sunday with Oprah (watch video here). I love the beauty of her illustrations, but most importantly I always support positive messages from the heart.
