In Love With {Metals}

We are in the final days of February, which means that Spring is closer and closer! It's been a very cold Winter so I thought I warm things up with a bit of shiny and gold favorites.

I know it's not sandal season (yet) but those two pairs are perfect for the upcoming warm days. A gold bag or clutch will uplift anyone's outfit and mood.

The sun will be shining all day soon and we'll be needing a pair of sunglasses, especially if they're glittery gold! And a necklace in mixed metals is perfect for any day or night.

Of course, don't forget an amazing scent, glittery nails and a pretty pout in nude—perfect!

A World of Glamour and Lynda

Wonder woman Lynda Carter known for her beauty, curves and courage has always been an inspiring American icon. I wanted to be her as a little girl!

To create a look inspired by Lynda, let's begin with simple and classic look with those flared leg jeans and white shirt. Add a bit of gold sparkle with a wonder-ful cuff and a delicate gold necklace.

A Visit to Kendra Scott

This past Sunday I had the pleasure to join my friend Josephina of Josephina Collection to the Kendra Scott showroom here in NYC. Kendra Scott is headquartered in Austin, Texas and was visiting for New York Fashion Week. We got the chance to preview the Spring/Summer 2015 collections.

Below is the Summer 2015 Vía Maya collection, which was my favorite. It was inspired by The City of Dawn, Tulum, Mexico. I love the beautiful designs and colors! Gorgeous, right?

Another collection we got a chance to see was the Avant Garden collection. It's full of natural elements with a delicate and edgy feel. I love that necklace below!

It was a great experience and the ladies were wonderful. Thank you Kendra Scott for the preview and beautiful bracelets (seen above). Love them! I am definitely a fan.

In Your Heart

I do believe that love is what lights up your life and fills it with color and warmth. Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, a day where we can all be thankful for the love we have to share in our lives and the love others share with us. 

Love is such a powerful word. It's what makes the world go around. Love is beyond what you feel for your significant other. It includes your family, friends, and can also reach others by a simple smile or an act of kindness.

 

Keep love in your heart—and don't forget to share it.
