Where There is Love

I love this quote. It just makes perfect sense. Right?

If you put love into everything you do and give love to everyone you encounter, you are sprinkling your life with love as well. A life full of love is a beautiful life.

When you create your life with an attitude of love, life will return the same to you and you'll enjoy the journey so much more. I notice that when I do things just to get them out of the way, the results are not as great as when I put my full attention and do my best with lots of love—no matter what it is I'm doing.

 

Next time you're doing something do it with love, you'll see what a difference the results will be.

Big & Small Fashion {01}

As you all know, I'm 20 weeks pregnant and it's a girl! As a mom of a little girl, I love to see how moms and their daughter match their outfits. As much as I think it's cute to dress alike, I still think you can each have your own sense of style while complementing each other.

Here are two different looks for me and my little girl!

The first look is perfect for a fun yet super stylish day out and about for me. I love to wear jeans with a t shirt and maybe a blazer if it's a bit chilly. Just add a metallic pair of oxfords—flats are a must!

To accessorize this look just add a bold bracelet in silver to match your shoes and a gorgeous bag to pull the entire look together.

For the second look, a super cute polka dot dress matched with an even more cute pair of moccasins in white with metallic dots. Just perfect!

Accessorize the look with a much needed doll and a bit of that amazing baby perfume. Love!

Inspiration: Margaret Keane Art

Today's inspiration is from artist Margaret Keane. She is an American artist originally from Tennessee who now resides in Sonoma County, California. Many of her pieces are in museums throughout the world. She is well known for her images of children with haunting big eyes. Part of her life as an artist is portrayed in the movie "Big Eyes", which is currently showing. I was able to see it last week and I really loved it!  Enjoy!

A World of Wonders: Marsala

This year's Pantone Color of the Year is Marsala! Pantone describes it as a naturally robust and earthy wine red, Marsala enriches our minds, bodies and souls... Sounds amazing, right?

 

Here's a collection of a few things Marsala. Starting with a beautiful lipstick. I think this is the perfect shade for your lips. I'll have to try it for sure!

 

This color looks amazing in accessories and those bags would go great with earthy tones or would make a bold statement with black.

 

For a comfortable and casual look why not a faded sweatshirt to add this color to your wardrobe? You can dress it up with accessories and a skirt or down with a pair of jeans and flats too. If you want to dress up this color, that skirt would look amazing with a pair of pumps, don't you think?

 

And for those cold days (as we're having now) that jeweled beanie is perfect!
