Today's inspiration is from Swiss artist Felice Varini, known for his large scale geometric forms onto interior and exterior spaces using projector-stencil techniques. Pretty Package Design {07}

More pretty packaging! I admit that packaging is a big reason I love to shop. I find it inspiring.

A candle not only can make a room look good, but also smell great and that Jo Malone is perfect for this season! If you're looking for a scent that'll look great in any decor, what about a golden apple? I love that Michael Aram. Isn't it gorgeous?

Speaking about gold...did you see that Cheers! Estée Lauder compact? Love!

Oh but if you're taking the scent with you, that cute Estée Lauder bon bon or the Kilian travel spray are perfect!

And the simplicity of that Giorgio Armani concealer is exactly what I love. Simply beautiful.

Fashion Loves Art {Magritte}

If you know me, you know that two of my passions are art and fashion. And when you have a collaboration between Opening Ceremony, Manolo Blahnik, Vans, Birkenstock and Belgian artist Magritte, to me that equals perfection. Although this collection has been out since May I hadn't visited the store, so this past weekend my sister and I decided to head to Opening Ceremony in Soho. A look at those Manolo Blahniks (featuring the Sheherazade, 1950) and I was in love...

What I love about Opening Ceremony is its unique and eccentric aesthetic. It houses "cool" designers and has its own collection as well. Comme des Garcons, Rodarte, Proenza Schouler and Alexander Wang, to name a few, along with unknown designers.

 What an amazing collaboration, right? I can't wait to see what they have in store next...

Summer Jewelry Galore

Summer is a time where we most likely wear less clothing and accessories become the main character of the season. I love accessories, they dress up or add a specific style to any plain outfit. You can change your accessories and you have a complete new look!

Necklaces are a great way to update an outfit. A simple chain for the day or a statement necklace for a night out. I love those two from Rebecca Mnkoff and House of Harlow 1960 (and I love Nicole Richie).

Earrings are also a favorite of mine. A pair like those green and black House of Harlow 1960 with a simple ponytail adds a touch of style and fun. A modern shape like those gold Rebecca Minkoff are perfect for a day look. 

And who doesn't love bracelets and rings, right? A bold gold or silver ring look amazing! And a chevron cuff like that Baublebar one is a winner.

Dream & Live

We shouldn't put limits to our dreams. I believe our dreams are suppose to be crazy, outrageous, (im)possible and completely out of this world. That's the point. It's a dream.

Our dreams should be our crazy destination, and our goals the road map to get there. But it's not about leaving everything to destiny or luck. We must work hard to make them come true, so they better be inspiring!

That's why everyday we should work towards our dreams and do something—anything to make them happen. Every day should be inspiring, amazing and a great day and when we're living one day at a time, as if it were our last (because it could be), we will surely live an amazing life. 

 

Go for it. Dream. Big. Today.
