A March Instagram World

Hi everyone! Can you believe that March is over? It's Spring and I'm still waiting for the flowers to bloom here in NYC, but at least it's not snowing.

March was a really great month filled with lots of fun!! Take a look at a few of my pictures from my instagram (follow me @adris_world)!

6. Getting my makeup done at the Illamasqua event in Bloomingdales. Loved it!
7. With Garance Doré at the Style Stories with Scott Schuman (he interviewed her). Very Inspiring, I loved it!
8. A delicious lunch at Eight Turn Crêpe in Nolita. So good!
9. Duo in running in the park on a nice day. Yay!
10. A nice day in the Lower East Side.
11. Trying to add some Spring to my grocery shopping. Tulips are my favorite flowers!
12. At the #instagramnyc birthday party with Rhea of Sew Stylish Rhea. Fun!
13. Having green tea for St. Patrick's Day. Perfect!
14. A beautiful day in the city. Love to see the sun come out!
15. An afternoon with the family at Doughnut Plant. Love their coffee and of course theirs doughnuts are amaaazing!

A Planned Life

Everybody has a plan for life, or at least an idea of what we want our lives to look like. Well, by not letting go of what things "should" look like we might be stuck and not allow what is.

It doesn't have to be a certain way.

We might think that the life we had planned is the best, but life sometimes has better plans for you. You just need to allow and let go. You might be missing out on that great opportunity because you are going against the current of life, instead of going with it. Being flexible can be a good thing.

You never know what life has in store for you. You might just meet that special someone, live in that new amazing city, start that new career, or have a more simple life and that's exactly what will make you happy...

 

Life is very wise. Stop and listen.

Inspiration: Jeff Koons Artist

An artist that I've always loved is Jeff Koons. He's an American contemporary artist known for his reproductions of common items in large scale. I have never seen his work in person but he'll be showing this summer at the Whitney Museum of American Art here in New York City, (June 27 - October 19, 2014) and I will definitely be there!

Paint Splatter Fashion

What do you think of the paint splatter trend? Is it something that you would wear? I wasn't so sure of it but I found these great items that actually changed my mind! 

What about a clutch, a coin purse or a travel bag in this pattern? I really like the look! For a touch of this trend a great statement necklace or a pair of sunglasses is the perfect way to add to your outfit. 

To add this trend to your closet a fun skirt like that Tibi with some black sandals and a simple white top and you're stylishly ready for a night out!

Todays's inspiration is from Vogue magazine UK covers from 1967 to 1975! I love the first one with Twiggy, it's so fun and colorful. How can you not love Twiggy right? Take a look and enjoy!
