This past weekend we visited one of my favorites places in the city: Ladurée. It's located in the Upper East Side and whenever I am in the area I make a stop. Well, this weekend we were heading to Central Park so of course we had to get some macarons!
This is the only location in the States and they fly in their macarons every day from Paris. Amazing!
This time we had the Pistachio, Caramel with Salted Butter, Rose Petal, Raspberry and Coconut. My favorites are the Rose Petal (delicious!) and the Caramel. They were so amazing and fresh—as usual!
There I am below, in heaven, about to have a bite of the Rose Petal one. Oh so so delicious!
Well, it seemed that the box didn't last too long. Duo had never had a macaron but this time his curiosity (and probably my face) is what made him want to try one.
So he picked the Rose Petal. One bite and that was it! I think this was definitely a milestone for him. Life before and after macarons...
It was a beautiful day in the park! We ate macarons, walked around and spent time with the family. What else can I ask for...more macarons, perhaps?
