Since we stayed in the city for the long weekend, we headed over to one of our favorite spots here in NYC—La Esquina (or The Corner). La Esquina is a Mexican restaurant located in Soho. It's a very different place to eat. Why? Because there are three restaurants in one spot. You have the taqueria (or taco stand), the cafe, and the lower level (hidden) tequila bar and restaurant. All three have different menus!
Although we've eaten at all three (the lower level being my favorite), this time we chose the cafe which has outside seating. It was a perfect day to eat outside, warm but with a slight breeze. Because it was the weekend we ordered from the brunch menu.
While waiting for our food Duo was entertained by his car. He loooves cars! Funny how he sticks his tongue out while playing.
Ah the food finally arrived! We had the Chile Verde Chilaquiles, Huevos Rancheros and Micheladas. So good! There was so much food that I couldn't even finish, so Brian took over!
After eating so much we had to go for a walk. Of course searching for the next place to eat...dessert!
It's always so much fun to eat out and have a family day! That's what I love about NYC, so many places to go to. It's just never ending fun!
Thanks for following along! Until our next adventure in the city!
