One of my favorite artists is Camille Rose Garcia. She is an internationally known American artist, illustrator and toy designer born in Los Angeles, California. She is part of the permanent collections of LACMA and the San Jose Museum of Art.
She grew up in the suburbs of Orange County while visiting Disneyland and attending punk shows, which have influenced her style. As a teenager she apprenticed with her mother (a muralist) working on murals.
Camille Rose Garcia has exhibited in many countries around the world. She also published a few books and illustrated versions of Alice in Wonderland and Snow White—which I both own and I love!
