Since it's still winter in this NYC wonderland. We decided to head over to our favorite cupcake place in Nolita, Little Cupcake Bakeshop, and cozy up with some sweetness and coffee.
What I love about this place is the decor. As soon as you walk in you feel like you're in an old-fashioned ice cream parlor. It's very cute. There are chandeliers hanging, the floor is black and white checkered, and their packaging is pink.
After taking some time to come up with what we wanted to order (so many choices), we decided on the coconut cloud cupcake, german chocolate cake and dreaming princess cupcake (vanilla and raspberry) and lattes. Duo was loving all the colors of the cupcakes.
Brian's favorite is definitely the german chocolate cupcake, since they didn't have it he ordered the cake (made him a very happy man). Did you see the size of that slice of cake? Wow!
My favorite has always been the coconut cloud cupcake (ah-mazing!), but that dreaming princess cupcake—I must admit is pretty good. So I guess I have a new favorite, but not for long. I still have a lot of other flavors to try.
As usual, everything was great! The cupcakes, the cake, the coffee, the ambiance. Perfect for a cold winter afternoon in the city. Thanks for joining us on another of our adventures in the city. Until next time!
