I Am a Heroine.

One of my favorite shows as a little girl was Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman was strong, had an invisible plane and she looked fabulous while saving the world. I wanted to be her when I grew up!

No matter what the circumstance in life, we always have a choice. Although sometimes it seems like we are the "victims" of life, we can choose to be a Superhero{ine}. A heroine doesn't focus on the problem, a heroine focuses on the possible solutions.

When there seems to be no solution (we've all been there), focus on the good in your life, how you can help others. Do something positive for yourself or others and eventually you will feel like a heroine. 

Life doesn't happen to you (victim). You make life happen (heroine).

A World of Art & Miss Van

An artist that I really love is Miss Van. Miss Van was born in Toulouse, France and is now living in Barcelona, Spain. She has had exhibits everywhere from NYC, LA to Europe and Asia. She began her career as a street artist (graffiti) at the age of 18, initiating the feminine movement in street art. Eventually, she created these female figures that she calls poupées (dolls), and is well known for today. 

"Painting on walls was a way to show that I was boycotting the conventional art world. At my beginnings, I had a rebel mind. I also find this more exciting to paint in the street because it is forbidden." —Miss Van 

Although she started painting in the streets, today she spends most of her time in her studio. Here's a peek of her studio. I always love to see where an artist works. It's just so inspiring!

It's a Rainbow, Rainbow World

This Spring colors are bright like ice cream. They are sure to brighten your day! I would personally wear them separately, but hey, if you're in the mood maybe you can pair a few together!

Hello NYC: Nolita. Part One.

Welcome to my neighborhood! Many people believe that Nolita is either Soho or Little Italy. It's actually called Nolita because it's NOrth of LIttle ITAly. It's a great downtown neighborhood filled with shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and boutiques. We love living here!

I thought I'd take you on a visual tour of where we hang out and like to eat, have coffee or just stroll around the neighborhood and explore.

We are definitely ready for spring. Can't wait to see these streets filled with sunshine and people enjoying their ice cream. We're so tired of having a million layers on!

A Day {Dream} in...Venice
