This past weekend I went to the "I Can Do IT. Ignite" event. It was a two day event held here in NYC. There were authors and speakers such as Dr. Wayne Dyer, Louise Hay, Gabrielle Bernstein, Cheryl Richardson and many more. Have you heard of it?
The speaker's subjects ranged from health, relationships and finance to personal lifestyle transformation. It was a very inspiring weekend filled with a lot of amazing information.
While on break they were offering "free haiku". A traditional Japanese haiku is a three-line poem with seventeen syllables. I thought this was very interesting. I gave them my word "orchid" and they wrote the poem on the spot—as you can see below.
I'm a huge Louise Hay fan. She is the founder of Hay House Publishing, an author and speaker. She's 86 years old and still continues to inspire and teach. How amazing is that? Below she is signing my books!
I couldn't resist and ended up buying several books. I'm a book junkie! I forgot I had to carry them home. I even got Duo one, which Louise Hay signed.
One of the things I learned is that your only purpose in life is to be true to yourself. It was an amazing weekend!
