What's your Legacy?

What are you doing with your life? What kind of legacy are you leaving? 

I believe that life is a responsibility and a gift. It took me a while to understand this. I, as many, took life for granted. I might of even thought I was immortal...ha!

We create our journeys. What we do with our time is the mark we are leaving, so we have to be honest about our life. We have to be completely honest with ourselves.

Are we living the amazing life we could be living? Are we doing everything we can to make it exactly as we want it to be? Are we proud of ourselves?

 Always be honest, but mostly be honest with yourself. You are who you need to impress.

A World of Art & Kathie Olivas

An artist I love is Kathie Olivas. She's an American artist born in New Mexico who currently lives in New Mexico and Florida with her husband and fellow artist Brandt Peters. Together they founded Circus Posterus, a small collective of fine artists, illustrators, gallery curators and collaborators.

She's a multi-media artist, sculptor and toy designer. Her paintings depict "cute" child like figures in odd worlds. I love the emotion behind each painting. It's a mix of adorable and strange, which leaves you with mixed feelings.

Below is a view of her studio. I've been to a few of her gallery exhibits here in NYC and her paintings and sculptures are amazing in true scale.
